1. Team quiz battle
Split the group into two or three teams. Read questions from a quiz with answers, one team at a time; a correct answer scores a point, a wrong one passes the question to the next team. Read the verse after each answer.
2. True or false, move to a side
Read a statement. Everyone who thinks it is true goes to one side of the room, everyone who thinks it is false goes to the other. Great for getting a group moving at the start.
3. Group game on phones
In the Bible Arena app, the leader opens a group game and shares the room code. 2 to 8 players join from their own phones and answer the same timed round; the leaderboard shows at the end. Teams can share a phone if not everyone has one.
4. Alias, one phone for the whole room
Bible Arena's Alias needs one phone. A player explains a Bible word (say, "manna" or "Jericho") without saying it, while their team guesses against the timer. Swap players every round.
5. Printable quiz
Print a quiz for small groups or a class with no phones. The answer key with every verse is on the last page.
6. Read, then quiz
Read one chapter together, then play the quiz on that book. It works well as a short study: the questions bring out the details people missed.
7. One-week daily challenge
Everyone plays the same daily puzzle in the app for a week (Daily Bread or Hidden Word) and shares their result in the group chat. Celebrate the longest streak at the next meeting.
Picking the right level
For younger groups start with the kids quiz; for older teens and adults the hard quiz is a real challenge. Every quiz on this site goes from easy to hard.
