How does the true or false Bible quiz work?

Each question is a single statement about the Bible, and your job is to decide whether it is true or false. Some are straightforward, such as whether God created the heaven and the earth in the beginning (Genesis 1:1). Others change one small detail, like a number, a name or a place, so read carefully before you answer. Was Jonah in the fish for three days and three nights (Jonah 1:17)? Was Jesus born in Nazareth or in Bethlehem (Matthew 2:1)?

True or false questions are quick, which makes them good for warm-ups in a Bible class, youth group games or a few minutes around the dinner table. One person reads the statement, everyone votes, and then you reveal the answer with its verse. Statements that turn out to be false are often the best way to start searching the Scriptures together (Acts 17:11).
